How does this happen, that the same Shofar can produce the sound of crying and pain, but a moment later it will carry notes of hope, happiness and awakening? Perhaps because in each one of us, there is a deep belief that someone in Heaven listens to the whispers of our hearts. The ancient, naive and simple voice of the Shofar moves from us to Him, the God Almighty, as it has – undeniably – a secretive and magical sound.
